I just read an article over on Market Samurai‘s blog about how to age your site. Of course you can’t really age your site but you can do some tricks to use the age of an older site so you will rank better than a new site would.
We all see many sites that don’t have a lot of backlinks and the content might not be the best or a lot of it, what-ever.
Well some of those sites rank better than our new site in a niche that we are trying to rank for simply because they are older. Age does mater.
I would suggest you run over to the Market Samurai site and take a read ( it will take you about 5 min.) and see what I’m talking about.
If I were more than a hobby player I would know how to tell you how to do the work. But I’m not so you’ll have to find out for your self.
If you don’t know anything about Market Samurai, it’s a great Keyword tool that can do a lot of things and I think that they still have a free trial.
Don’t worry this link isn’t an affiliate and you don’t have to sign in to get to read the article.
Just go read it.
