Online Marketing Squidoo Tips

Boy, are we glad your back. We missed you and hope you'll return often.

Social Media is an umbrella term that defines the various activities that integrate technology, social interaction, and the construction of words, pictures, videos and audio. This interaction, and the manner in which data is presented, depends on the varied perspectives and “building” of shared meaning among communities, as individuals share their stories, and understandings.

Social networks enable you to post videos, articles, podcasts, Blogs, bookmarks, links, profiles and comments. It's very quick to share your message or marketing details via the use of these social websites. Content is on the other hand still king and your message needs to be of interest to the readers to be able to spread it around.

So here is the article that we have for you

Online marketers do have a problem using free tools because of how they go about it. This often lies in the fact there is no monetary investment to get started. This can be true with the powerful marketing tool known as Squidoo.

Here are a few tips I can offer you to get more out of a Squidoo as a marketing tool and make money online with it.

1. Offer a professional appearance. If you have any doubt about what this means look at some of your competitors and see how they are creating professional appearances in their own lens.

Free services such as Blogger.com and Squidoo can lead to poorly designed appearances by their owners. The result is less time spent by visitors and ultimately less income to you.

2. Use keywords effectively. Search engines will find your pages if you title them correctly and include keyword phrases in the description. You should also be using these words in the tags and linking to other sites for better results.

3. Create a lens of the day. This will keep people interested in your page and bring them back in the future.

4. Stay on theme. One advantage to Squidoo is you can create more than one page if you want to venture into other niches. The critical thing is to stay on theme and not confuse your readers or search engines with irrelevant information.

5. Use the answer desk if you have questions. The forum is another good place to find helpful information or get your questions answered.

6. Look over your grammar and spell check. This will reflect poorly on you if there are multiple mistakes.

7. Take advantage of affiliate products and create lenses for them. This is an excellent way to monetize your pages and to make more money. As an affiliate marketer you do not need to create any of your own products and many offer excellent compensation plans.

For sure incorporate Google Adsense into them. Also join PayPal so you can get paid by Squidoo and other affiliate programs that pay with them.

8. Use Search Automator for sources of information. You can find information with this free tool via articles, search engines, video, podcasts, and much more.

Avoid using Google as you can get your content spidered and archived better if you are providing fresh content from other sources.

These are a few Internet marketing strategies using Squidoo. There is a learning curve to doing this correctly, but once you understand that it can be a powerful source of traffic and an income generation tool!

Internal Linking in Squidoo

Social Media can take numerous diverse forms, including Internet forums, message boards, weblogs, wikis, podcasts, pictures and video. Technologies consist of: blogs, picture-sharing, vlogs, wall-postings, email, instant messaging, music sharing, crowd sourcing, and voice over IP, to name a few.

Social networks allow you to post videos, articles, podcasts, Blogs, bookmarks, links, profiles and comments. It is very quick to share your message or marketing facts through the use of these social websites. Content is nonetheless still king and your message needs to be of interest to the readers in order to spread it around.

So here is the article that we have for you

I just read a hoot of an article by “TeaTree” from the “52 Squidoo” that I mentioned I’m involved with this year.  It’s about the use of Internal Links to promote your Squidoo lens.

It sounds quite complicated when you first read it, at least to me anyway, but after looking at the visual he has made, it makes it a little easier to understand.

I just was getting used to understanding back links and how to make them and the difference between regular links and ancor links.  Now I’ve got to think about something different yet in the same ball park.

Anyway the link to this article is called “The Importance of Internal Linking on Squidoo” and you can find it on his site called “My Internet Marketing Blog“.

I also read another article (see why I don’t get anything done) about what is the most important to do?  Focus on one thing or do a lot?  Very interesting that the writer said that the focus is the most important but that the learning curve would stay pretty much flat if he didn’t do the other things that help him to grow in his Internet Marketing education.

Enough for today.

C U next time.

If your ready, here is the article

Since Jan 1st 2010 I’ve been involved in the 52 week lens building challenge that Tiffany Dow is putting on.  We are supposed to build one lens per week for 52 weeks, qualifying for the title of Giant Squid or something like that.

So far I’ve built 9 lens and revised 4, making a total of 13 approved lens.  They are of different rank and get traffic from Squidoo as well as Goggle and other places.

My latest lens is about Filson Clothing.  One of the products that I like and am happy to give my support to.  I have two other Filson sites and I will discuss them at a later date.

I am falling behind with my article marketing of the sites.  But have been doing Social Marketing, trying to make up for it.  Some how I believe that I should be doing the article marketing instead.

It’s fun to see donations coming in from sales with Amazon.com and also to see that I’ve even had a real life sales of one of the products.  Maybe this Affiliate thing is real and money can be made from it.  We’ll see about that.

Next time I’ll try to remember to tell you about the Adsense Bootcamp I’m doing with Steve Crookes from the Warrior Forum.  I’ve been trying to do thing with adsense for about 2 years and this seems to be a way to get thing going the right direction.  We just started this week so I’ll fill you in as time goes by.

I’ll be back in a couple of days.

Cee Ya.
