Squidoo Lens

Boy, are we glad your back. We missed you and hope you'll return often.

Social Media is an umbrella term that defines the several activities that integrate technology, social interaction, as well as the construction of words, pictures, videos and audio. This interaction, plus the manner in which information is presented, depends on the varied perspectives and “building” of shared meaning among communities, as persons share their stories, and understandings.

Social networks enable you to post videos, articles, podcasts, Blogs, bookmarks, links, profiles and comments. It is extremely effortless to share your message or marketing data through the use of these social websites. Content is on the other hand still king and your message needs to be of interest to the readers in order to spread it around.

If your ready, here is the article

Since Jan 1st 2010 I’ve been involved in the 52 week lens building challenge that Tiffany Dow is putting on.  We are supposed to build one lens per week for 52 weeks, qualifying for the title of Giant Squid or something like that.

So far I’ve built 9 lens and revised 4, making a total of 13 approved lens.  They are of different rank and get traffic from Squidoo as well as Goggle and other places.

My latest lens is about Filson Clothing.  One of the products that I like and am happy to give my support to.  I have two other Filson sites and I will discuss them at a later date.

I am falling behind with my article marketing of the sites.  But have been doing Social Marketing, trying to make up for it.  Some how I believe that I should be doing the article marketing instead.

It’s fun to see donations coming in from sales with Amazon.com and also to see that I’ve even had a real life sales of one of the products.  Maybe this Affiliate thing is real and money can be made from it.  We’ll see about that.

Next time I’ll try to remember to tell you about the Adsense Bootcamp I’m doing with Steve Crookes from the Warrior Forum.  I’ve been trying to do thing with adsense for about 2 years and this seems to be a way to get thing going the right direction.  We just started this week so I’ll fill you in as time goes by.

I’ll be back in a couple of days.

Cee Ya.
